Let me be fair by saying that there has been at least 1 name change in your life Jess and though I don’t need to give the any reasons why, it’s safe to say that you would identify yourself through here if you read about you. With that out of the way, it was sad when you left out of the way. You didn’t run, you walked, and I think you might still be walking. Read the rest of this entry »

We played volleyball. It wasn’t the greatest reason we were hanging out together, but it was enough of a reason that we were able to make a short and friendly relationship work out. Getting caught with you in my folk’s place when I was 16 and you were 18 years old probably was the crescendo of our time together, when things came to an end. Read the rest of this entry »

You went from being possibly smarter than I was into being someone that used your head for blocking other people running at you. You followed in the shoes of all those greats that took to sports, realized it wasn’t what you would survive financially in life doing, and then you went and smartened you up! I am thankful that you carried me, but it was only for a half-mile… Read the rest of this entry »

Unfortunately, it was the end of our friendship… Read the rest of this entry »

I knew Zack when we were kids. He was the first person I met when I moved after my folks divorced and was my best friend throughout elementary school. Sadly, elementary school didn’t last as long as it should have. Never does. I warn kids of that these days, that school is only a safety place for so long. As for the friendships, well even the best ones don’t always last… Read the rest of this entry »

Robert J, thank you. You taught me how to repair mechanical devices and see things in a more logical way, even if you were probably high on cocaine when you did. It’s not a bad thing in my opinion, as I was an adult and able to appreciate the good, ignore the bad, and gleem for myself the important lessons… Read the rest of this entry »
